Having been listed as subject to confirmation on the provisional calendar, June's Canadian GP and November's Brazilian GP have been confirmed.Besides the management, there have been a few rule and technical changes to the sport. The Mexican GP moves forward a week to pair it back-to-back with the US GP as was the case in 2016. The Singapore and Malaysian races swap dates from the provisional calendar, with Singapore now a standalone event in September and Malaysia paired with Japan in October. That also means the Austrian and British GPs move back a week from their provisional dates with the race at Silverstone now scheduled for July 16.
